Background- What makes a human different from others is relentless service towards society. For a country like India to usher in development era, there is exigency of reliable responsible shoulders on which this pious objective can be placed upon. ABHINAV, an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, came into existence in 1993 to fulfill this requirement. With the sole objective of serving the society and uplifting the deprived sections, ABHINAV, a non government organization, registered under societies Act 21, 1860 is continuously rendering services for the betterment of living standards of these sections with special attention towards all round development of women and children. Since its inception, ABHINAV has continuously strived for development of farmers, women, and unemployed youths to make them stand on their feet and aspire of a healthy and prosperous life. The main stress of the organization has always been generating employment oriented opportunities. From ensuring high quality health facilities and safe drinking water to latest technical education and self employment, the organization has undertaken and successfully implemented various Central and State projects. The activities of Abhinav have been evaluated by IIM, Lucknow. Besides this, the organization along with State Family Welfare Institute, Lucknow has been appraised by various departments of State and Central governments. In all these evaluation studies, Abhinav has got high ranking. 2. Vision Mainstreaming the poor and downtrodden towards development and notional progress through promoting people’s organization as the key element to achieve a self-reliant community. 3. Mission  Creation of self reliant community by adoption of participatory approach  Acquaintance with the country’s rich tradition and heritage for getting imbibed with the spirit of using efficient use of modern resources.  Make provision of opportunities to the disadvantage sections of the community for there all round development.  Creation of awareness, conscientisation of social, economic and political incidences, which have kept the rural mass poor and deprived.  Emphasis on women empowerment.  Slum development. 4. Objectives: As the name implies, ABHINAV is a new hope for unemployed youths, a source of empowerment for women of weaker section, a power booster for farmers toiling hard on the field, and a stiff resistance against heinous crimes like dowry, female infanticide etc. Following are prime objectives of the organization that the organization continuously strives for: 2. To make SHG’s fundamentally viable and economically sustaining entities by redeeming their faith in themselves. 3. To provide due counseling and technical training to unemployed rural youths. 4. Availing modern techniques in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, AH & dairy including organic farming etc. were made to farmers. 4. Economic amelioration of rural masses by imparting them employment generating trainings like food processing, bee-keeping, nursery, horticulture etc. to make them self-reliant. 5. Making people conscious of their surrounding environment towards checking its continuous deterioration. 6. Giving impetuous to save drinking water, sanitation & hygienic practices at the village level. 7. To provide consultancy services for planning and designing of community water-supply, waste-water disposal and solid waste management schemes 8. To carry out technical and social research and development studies on various aspects of environmental sanitation and community water-supply. 9. To reduce the morbidity and mortality rate of infants and young children due to diarrhea and to stabilize the rate of growth of population. 10. To construct and maintain public toilets on pay and use basis and to discourage the use of septic tank in individual houses or in public toilets. 11. To remove the practice of untouchability and social discrimination and to restore human rights and dignity of the persons who clean human excreta manually called “scavengers”’ and to bring them in the mainstream of society, so that they could live at par with other castes, which was the dream of Mahatma Gandhi. 12. Availing modern medical facilities at the village level. 13. Making people aware of the socials evils like dowry, female foeticides, wife bashing, women trafficking etc. 14. Making people attentive towards sexually transmitted disease like AIDS, Syphilis, and Leucorrhea etc. 15. Making people acquaint of the importance of observing road safety guidelines while on the roads. 11. Prioritizing non-conventional education. 12. Ensuring safe drinking water & sanitation through various programs. 13. Dissemination of Information Technology in deep rural areas. 14. Youth & woman empowerment through skill development in the field of information technology & computer literacy. 15. Raising standards of education. 16. Software development useful for society. 17. Improve socio- economic status of rural. 18. Provide healthcare facilities, education, weather & agriculture related services through communication, Video conferencing & satellite technologies.
