Activities: Micro Finance
1. Introduction: Technical Assistance for Rural Development (TARD) launched its programme in 1981 and since then had been implementing projects and programs in the areas of poverty reduction, non-formal education, micro-credit, agriculture, employment generation, youth development, gender equality, environment etc. Along with implementing the projects, it has been providing technical assistance services namely training, review and evaluation studies, management development consultancy to national and international NGOs and the projects implemented by different agencies of the Government and international development partners.

 3. Mission: Promotion of people’s participation for their socio-economic development.
 4. Goal: Empowerment of people for their development and establishment of rights.
 5. Objectives:
• To facilitate development of community organizations for undertaking activities leading to poverty alleviation.
 • Mobilizing the civil society to facilitate the participation of people in development process.
 • To build up the capacity of local government to identify their roles, functions and responsibilities, needs of the people, develop plan with the people utilizing local and external resources.
• To build up the capacity of women for their empowerment leading to economic and socio-political development.
 • To respond to the needs of the people due to the effects of climate change
