Uttranchal Jan Vikas Samity is an NGO working in Dehradun district of Uttaranchal with an  objective  to promote building up society consisting of free and equal citizens from rural background who may come together and solve their problem that affect them in their particular contexts. it encompasses all section irrespective of cast,sex,race or class is affiliated to any particular group.to make concerted effort to ensure that all available local resources human,financialand material are optimally used during the cource of out all development intervention. ujvs endeavors to enhance the capabilities of rural poor people in term of gaining literacy,better socio economic status and upliftment from oppressive gender relation.
