People For Animals, Angul is an NGO working in Angul district of Odisha with the following aims and objectives.
 
1.We are dedicated to rescuing, treating, rehabilitating and caring for all animals
 
2. Training and educating particularly children, about sound animal care and welfare, this is of paramount importance; we will provide activities on a wide range of animal topics aimed at informing, advising, educating and enabling participants to develop their knowledge of animals. Alongside this we will provide projects for schools to allow children to learn about and care for animals.
 
3.We always try to make sure that wild animals are released back into a safe environment and that pets and farm animals are fully assessed, treated and looked after for the rest of their lives either in our care or in the care of their new adopters.
 
4.Work for political, local, national and international policy changes relating to the improvement of all animal welfare issues
 
5.Co-operate with like-minded organisations to promote animal welfare
 
6.To raise sufficient funds to facilitate the achievement of our stated aims
 
7.Provide safe, controlled environments for plant and animal species from reptiles and birds to mammals and insects
 
8.Build up our knowledge on wildlife habitats
 
9.Collaborate with local, national and international organisations on wildlife protection and habitat improvement.
 
10. Create Infrastructure – Upgrade and establish facilities for animal rescue and rehabilitation such as shelters, ambulances, mobile clinics and helplines.
 
11.To regulate the transportation of animals to make it humane.
 
12.To introduce animal welfare in school and college curricula.
 
13. To Protect all the Animals which comes under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
 
14. To check against overloading and smuggling of animals for slaughter.
 
15.To make anti-poaching force to check the trade of Endangered Wildlife.
