OBJECTIVES:-
1. To organize training for skill up gradation and technology transfer to rural youth for self-employment, wage employment activities.
2. To establish marketing linkages for product of the rural poor group and assist them in research and development related activities.
3. To assist rural poor for working in new areas of animal husbandry, Dairy Development, agriculture and rural development sectors.
4. To support and provide assistance in the establishment of rural, small and agro-based industries.
5. To develop human resources and their livelihood promotion through training programmes based on felt needs.
6. Upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward castes, bonded laborers, child labours, handicapped, forest inhabitant, displaced people, refugees, weaker and exploited classes of societies and welfare of youth children/ senior citizen.
7. To work in the areas of preservation of natural eco-system, pollution control, bio-diversity conservation, afforestation, environment management, watershed management, reclamation of problematic soil and alternative energy programmes.
8. To carry out various educational programmes among people and create awareness among women about gender equality issue, established community information centre and conduct training programme concerning to information and technology.
9. To help in implementing, monitoring and evaluation of various development oriented schemes in rural areas sponsored by state & Central Government and to act as a coordinator in increasing in the people’s participation.
10. To carry out all types of health and hygiene programme i.e., vaccination, population control, sanitation, movement, awareness towards AIDS, Malnutrition etc. and related programmers in developing and under developed areas.
