Kalicharanpur jana kalian samiti wel fare NGO is a non-government, non profit making and non communal organisation which saw the light of the day in the year 2009 with avowed objective of Education, training and employment of the weaker sections of the society in particular and disability, women and adolescent in general. It mainly aims at to provide skill to the women and workers so that they can developed their skill through various vocational training conducted by the NGO and become self sufficient. The organisation conducted sanitation awareness programme in the remote villages of Sonitpur District. It conducted awareness generation camps and the participants are make aware regarding hygiene and sanitation and its effects on the health as well as in the environment. It conducted more than 10 Nos of awareness generation camps during last 3 years. The organisation also provide bridge education to the children who are either living in the street or child worked in different shops and markets. It emphasis more to provide formal education who are eager to learn. Its main aim is to stop child work and to create skilled labour through various skill development vocational training. During last 3 years it covered 9 Nos of children. The organisation also providing free computer education to the educated unemployed youth belonging to the weaker section of the society. During last 3 years it provides basic computer education to 334 Nos of educated unemployed youth and girls in the Sonitpur District. The organisation also focuses on games and sports activity in rural areas in order to create a healthy society. Both outdoor and indoor games conducted and competition are often held in its jurisdiction. During last 3 years 9 Nos of competition are being conducted and covered 1100 Nos of beneficiaries. Besides, it helps to the flood victims and old aged people who are neglected not only by the family members but also by the society.
