Aim/Objective/Mission: Satkyakam is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2004 by a team of committed and dedicated academicians who have been associated with the issues of ground root level and have always strived for a better society for the underprivileged who have been devoid of their basic human rights like apt living conditions or education or alike. Thus a set of committed souls who came together around 5 years from now and decided to make that better world happen to many who are in need. Our main focus is on the children who are slum dwellers and the women who even after always being referred as the fairer sex is still the oppressed class of the society. We have been actively involved in various activities towards the emancipation of this browbeaten class of the humanity. The government has not been contributing towards this aspect and thus a need arose for the non-governmental organisations to take a step ahead and do something for this category of the society. Thus, as a group which is committed to bring about a change in the society, we took a step ahead and started working towards the betterment of the class and hope to bring them a difference in the coming years.
