Oxfam is seeking an experienced, energetic individual, to lead our Financial Management team (currently 5 direct reports), split between Oxford and Newcastle, which provides the core transactional accounting service across the organisation, comprising: payroll and expenses, finance systems analysis, tax and treasury, income processing and accounts payable. Oxfam has invested recently in new on-line applications for payroll and expenses, but we recognise the need for us to implement e-invoicing and potentially to move towards a true Purchase to Pay (P2P) approach, so identifying and leading on the implementation of, successor systems, will be a core aspect of this role.
