Call for Proposals - Small Local Projects in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka in 2016

1.Small Local Projects: Small Local Projects (“SLPs”) are the development projects financed by the Government of the Czech Republic, identified by the Embassy and after the approval of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic also administrated by the Embassy. SLPs are carried out by local subjects or companies. Purpose of the projects is to support positive changes in the country. The projects are to be carried out by local subjects (educational, health, social, cultural, NGOs, cooperatives, administrative-territorial entities, local communities, etc.) for realization of small scale development activities. The scope of content might vary from equipment supply, development activities implementation, educational and training activities, capacity building etc. SLPs should also contribute to visibility of the Czech Republic and improve understanding of Czech Republic as a donor country. Small local project can be a part of bigger (e.g. international) project.

2.Competent subjects:SLPs are realized by local subjects. Local non-governmental non-profit organization and other subject qualified to realize development cooperation projects can participate. Qualified subjects/organizations have to prove 3 years of existence and experience with cooperation with international donors. 

3.Place of implementation: In 2016 SLPs can be implemented in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

4.Timeline:

4.1. Contract will be signed with successful applicants by the 15th March, 2016.

4.2. All project activities have to be concluded by implementing subjects and reimbursed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi by the 31st October 2016.

4.3. Final financial and narrative reports have to be submitted no later than one month after the end of project realization.
