Application Last Date: MONDAY, MAY 2, 2011 BE FREE GLOBAL's mission is to link action and ideas for children by providing alternative funding opportunities for creative projects worldwide that improve the lives of children of diverse backgrounds that otherwise may not exist. As a start-up foundation, our first initiative is to identify small and rising non-profit organizations and encourage their participation in our micro-grant making program. Our vision is to link doers for children around the globe in a global conversation where ideas are exchanged and cross-cultural dialogue is fostered around shared solutions to common issues. Financial support for these grants will come from charitable contributions to and fundraising activities by BE FREE GLOBAL. In its initial grant making cycle (2010-2012), Be Free Global is seeking to fund a select group of not-for-profit organizations on several continents that focus on providing educational resources to displaced children and children otherwise disconnected from traditional public and private resources. Be Free Globaal is looking for organizations that use innovation, creativity, and direct solutions to the challenges facing children in their community. The programs we will support can be simple programs or activities or mutli-faceted organizations that meet the educational goal. Be Free Global is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization whose mission is to provide micro-grants to support creative and innovative projects for children worldwide. For 2011-2012, Be Free Global will be providing grants of $1,000 aimed specifically at projects that provide educational resources to displaced children. APPLICATION FORM
