Do you run a sustainable social venture, or have an innovative idea that can improve the world around you? Here is that chance for you to shine. Apply to the DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge Asia, and get the boost you need to develop your idea or enterprise to its full potential. The DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge Asia aims to identify passionate aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs, who have innovative business solutions to solve social issues and create positive and sustainable social impact in Asia. This year, up to 2 teams from the Idea category and up to 6 teams from the Enterprise category will be awarded with prize money, in total worth over SGD150,000. Both DBS Foundation and NUS Enterprise will provide 6 months of post-competition support for the finalist teams, such as matching you with meaningful mentors, as well as relevant incubation support with us or our country partners. The Challenge is now open for online submission of application from 17 April to 14 May 2017!
The 2017 edition has 2 different categories for application submission, depending on the stage of your idea or social venture. IDEA CATEGORY for those who are still validating their idea, trying to build a minimum viable product, or have conducted trials with a small group of customers, but have yet to generate consistent revenue. ENTERPRISE CATEGORY for those who are already consistently generating revenues or expanding to new regions to grow its size and impact. In addition, up to 2 teams from the IDEA category and up to 6 teams from the ENTERPRISE category would be awarded with prize money, in total worth over SGD150,000. Going beyond the prize money from the Challenge, both DBS Foundation and NUS Enterprise will provide 6 months of post-competition support for the finalist teams, such as matching you with meaningful mentors, as well as relevant incubation support with us or our country partners. The Challenge is open for online submission of application from 17 April to 14 May 2017!
