APPLY FOR A GRANT Call for Proposals for the SOS African wildlife is now open.
This call is focused on African Wildlife (in Sub-Saharan Africa) prioritising five species of carnivores including lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs and Ethiopian wolves.
A limited proportion of the funding will be earmarked for additional species. These include other carnivores and species belonging to the families Equidae, Giraffidae and Bovidae.
Under this current call, SOS is accepting applications until 17:30 Central European Time (CET) on 25th May 2017.
If you are interested in applying for an SOS grant, please visit the SOS Online Portal where you will find all the necessary information and documentation required, including the eligibility criteria for proposals. Please note application instructions and templates are available in both English and French language versions. Applications can be submitted in either of these languages.
Please carefully read all the announcements, information and the documents that are available on the Online Portal. Applications must comply with all the SOS requirements in order to be judged eligible and be reviewed.
Each application will need to consist of:
- Project Proposal (including logical framework, monitoring plan and timeline), in Word format;
- Budget in Excel format;
- Certificate of registration for each organisation requesting funds from SOS;
- A map of the project site (and Shapefiles if available);
- CVs of key staff.
All required instructions and background documents are posted on the SOS Online Portal. Potential applicants are invited to read all the information available in order to confirm they are eligible for funding under SOS.
