How to Apply The Tufts Health Plan Foundation invests in communities through grants to nonprofit organizations whose work considers healthy living with a focus on healthy aging. Ideas must demonstrate evidence-based or evidence-informed practice or have potential and measurable impact that benefits older adults through Systems and Best Practices, and Policy and Advocacy.
For ease in applying, our process is electronic. Your grant application should be submitted to our Foundation by the appropriate due date. Our system will close at 4 p.m. ET on the due date.
Please note the following:
Organizations may submit only one letter of inquiry (LOI) per funding year. Multi-year proposals will be considered. We will fund only one grant per organization during any given cycle. If your organization is currently receiving funding from the Tufts Health Plan Foundation, you may apply for new funding, and if awarded a grant, the resources will be allocated when your current grant is complete. Step 1 – Register and create your secure online account If you are a first time user, our CyberGrants system will require you to create a password in order to register for online access.
Correspondence will be sent to the email address provided in the registration process so please make sure that email information is kept up-to-date. We also encourage you to bookmark your registration page for future reference and ease of access.
Step 2 – Letter of Inquiry After successfully registering, complete and submit your LOI – we only accept submissions through our online process. For technical questions about the LOI process, please see the “Need Support?” link on CyberGrants.
If we have any questions regarding your LOI, one of our community investors will contact you. We will notify you regarding your grant status by our deadline.
If your inquiry does not result in our request for a full grant proposal, your organization may submit a new LOI in the next cycle or funding year.
Step 3 – Invitation to Submit Full Proposal You will be notified via email if we are inviting a full proposal for consideration. In that email, you’ll be provided an electronic access code and link to our online grant application with the deadline for submission.
Step 4 – Notification of Funding Organizations are notified of funding decisions on or around the dates indicated in the Due Dates section.
