If you meet the criteria you can Apply for a Grant to Sir Dorabjee Tata Trust and after scrutiny if you are shortlisted, the Trust will get in touch with you for further information if needed. For New Grant Applicants: If your organisation works in one or more of the thematic areas supported by Sir Dorabji Tata Trusts & The Allied Trusts, and if you would like to explore partnership with the Trusts, please send a concept note in the format given below. Kindly send the document in .doc or .pdf format to sdtt@sdtatatrust.com. You are requested to not send any additional material by email/surface mail/courier at this time. Please note that applicants will receive a response from the Trusts within 30 days. Those who are shortlisted for further exploration of partnership will be taken through the grant-making process, which many involve multiple levels of review and iteration, for up to 6 months. Going through the different levels of iteration is not an indication of fruition of grant support. The final decision on sanction (or regret) of a grant application will be known only at the end of the review and iteration process. NGO Grants: The Natural Resource Management and Livelihoods (NRML) portfolio addresses the interlinked issues of sustainable and equitable management of natural resources; and the enhancement of the livelihoods of the rural poor. The Trusts have made significant progress with regards to the latter. Moving forward, efforts will be directed towards efficient natural resources management, with a focus on the restoration and maintenance of the ecological balance. The portfolio has three sub-thematic areas of engagement: 1. Household Food Security 2. Ecological Security 3.
