If so, our Account Manager position within our sector leading Philanthropy team might be the role for you.

We are looking for someone who is Innovative, Resourceful and Passionate about Save the Children’s cause and aims.  Whatever sector you are working in whether it is Fundraising, Sales or Banking, if you are skilled at relationship management and working to targets we are keen to hear from you.

About the role: Philanthropists are a vital part of Save the Children’s future in terms of both giving and influence. Our loyal donors already include leaders from the business, media and financial world and in 2013 our support from Philanthropists increased by 92%. We want to capitalise on this success and continue to build our high performing team for 2014 and beyond.

Accountabilities:
1.Manage a portfolio of existing and new donors, trusts and foundations through a variety of personalised and creative approaches, raising income to meet agreed targets with a focus on gifts in excess of £25,000
2.Actively drive new business, working closely with internal teams to identify and evaluate, new donors to Save the Children
3.Develop and implement strategic, creative and bespoke donor plans to engage and steward donors
4.Produce high quality written proposals and making verbal presentations tailored specifically to inspire and captivate donors
